Visceral Manipulation
Visceral Manipulation is an form of treatment that focuses on promoting balance and other body connections in the movement of the body’s internal organs and tissues. It can help release tension, relieve pain and improve mobility, promoting the body’s natural ability to heal itself. This gentle and precise treatment can be usefull to relieve a variety of ailments, such as chronic pain and musculoskeletal problems, and restore the body’s well-being. The VM study package includes five courses.
Manual Articulation approach
Manual Articular Approach (MAA) treat with joints as a whole and the compensations caused by joint dysfunctions in the rest of the body. In MAA courses you will learn techniques for treating the innervation of joints, the vascular system, the joint capsule, ligaments, bone and cartilage tissues, as well as the effects of dysfunctions from a visceral and emotional perspective. The MAA study package includes four courses.
Neural Manipulation
Neural Manipulation is a manual therapy method that focuses on treating the function and structure of the nervous system. Neural manipulation deals with the body’s neural network, which can positively affect the body’s overall well-being and help treat a variety of ailments. NM training gives you extensive tools to work with both the central and peripheral nervous system structures.
The NM study package includes five courses.
Listening Techniques
Listening Techniques are palpation and assessment tools that allow the therapist to fine-tune their work and to more accurately investigate and treat tf.e. the client’s pain and dysfunction, and to understand their root causes. Listening techniques allow you to develop your comprehensive palpation and assessment skills to a new level.
Advanced Courses
We offer a wide range of in-depth and specialization-enabling study packages, such as MAB training (Manual Approach to The Brain).
Sertificate
Barral offers technical and diploma-level certification programs in all study modules.

Who are the training programs aimed at?
Our training programs are aimed toall manual therapy and healthcare professionals, such as physiotherapists, osteopaths, trained massage therapists, bone setters and other manual therapy specialists.
Our training provides in-depth knowledge and practical skills that help participants improve the well-being and treatment outcomes of their patients.
How long do the trainings last and what is their structure/content?
The duration of the training varies depending on the content. You can find more information about the duration and content of each training on the training site and information about the implementation of each upcoming training via the calendar.
How much do the courses cost?
Prices vary depending on the course and content.
Early bird prices for courses are usually around 750 euros and regular prices are between 850-920 euros. Prices are subject to Finnish VAT of 25.5%.
International participants can also pay their participation fee to Barral International. Ask for more information about international payments.
How can I register to your training?
Registering for Barral Institute training is easy!
1. Check out the trainings in the training sections of our website.
2. Check the calendar to see what trainings are available and when.
3. Once you have found yours, follow the link in the training details to the FIMT online store and purchase the training.
4. Once you have received an order confirmation from the FIMT online store, you have secured your place in the training!
5. Wait for training letters, which will be sent to participants 12 weeks, 8 weeks, 4 weeks and 1 week before the start of the training.
